  • Do you offer free estimates?

    We charge a $50 non-refundable booking fee for all on-site estimates. Booking fees are transferable if notice of rescheduling is provided more than two business days in advance.   • You were referred by my appliance store. Do you work for them?

  • Why do you require a a credit card prior to scheduling my installation? What if I want to pay by check?

    As one of the few certified, independent appliance installers in the northwest, we are often scheduled out more than three weeks in advance for installations. We have a cancellation policy in place to make sure appointments occur when planned. A credit card is required to be on file when booking an appointment in order to cover our cancellation policy. If you prefer to pay by check, you will be able to do so at the time of the installation, and we will not charge your card.   • Is there a fee if I cancel my appointment?

    On-site estimate fees are non-refundable. Cancellation fees are not charged if you cancel with at least two business days' notice for jobs valued under $1,500. We have this policy in place so that we can help as many people as possible each day. For example, if your installation is on a Thursday, we must receive notice by 5 p.m. on Monday of that week.  Business days are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Please see our terms and conditions for more information.   • What will my installation cost?

    You can see our standard installation rates on our pricing page, but every installation is unique. If you are replacing your existing appliance with the same exact model, then you have a standard installation. That being said, your new appliance may be slightly larger or smaller than your old one, requiring us to cut back your counters or cabinets. Or your new appliance may need the gas connection or outlet in a different place, requiring us to move it. Your existing vent hood or over-the-range microwave may have had recirculating venting, and now building codes require it to vent out of your home.   • Do I need to hire any other contractors?

    Typically, you won't need to involve any other contractors. Our installers are able to do most of the electrical, plumbing, and carpentry modifications needed for your appliance installation. Occasionally, a project will require an additional subcontractor. We have partnerships with a variety of contractors such as electricians, roofers, and plumbers, and we are happy to provide their information when necessary.   • How can I prepare for my installation?

    Make sure you or your designated agent will be available all day on your installation date(s). You will also need to make sure your appliance is available for your installation date. Your power, water, and gas will need to be fully functional for your installation date. Make sure we can access your circuit panel and that you know where your water and gas shut-off(s) are located. Make sure your installation location is set per the manufacturer’s recommendations. If you are unsure, we recommend getting an on-site estimate. 


    We will call or email you one to two business days prior to your installation. We will need to have the best contact information for you or your designated agent. Return the call or email by the end of the day in which you received your time window.  


    Prepping the installation area: 

    • Do not use the old appliance(s) at least two hours prior to our arrival
    • Clean out the old appliance(s)
    • Clean off counters/surfaces on either side of the work area
    • Plan for dust 
    • Decide if you want to keep your old appliance
    • Clean out under the sink, range microwave, and hoods 
    • Clean out the cabinet above the appliance

  • When will you arrive for my installation?

    We will call or email you one to two business days prior to your installation and provide you with a two-hour arrival window. This arrival window is based on all installations planned for that day and is only adjusted for business needs. We will do our best to arrive during this window, as well as to provide as much notice as possible if our arrival window changes due to circumstances outside of our control.
