TERMS AND CONDITIONS


We, at Damian John Installations, are excited to be working with you! These terms and conditions were developed to ensure the smoothest installation process possible. We want you to know how the process works, how to best prepare, what you can expect from us and what we ask of you in return. 

If you have any questions or concerns, or don’t agree with the terms and conditions, please let us know prior to paying any fees.

On-site Estimates

On-site Estimates are $50 and this fee is non-refundable. This fee must be paid prior to scheduling. The booking fee is transferable if rescheduling notice is provided more than 2 business days in advance. Additional travel fees may apply if you are outside of our standard service area and are due at the time of your On-site Estimate

Your On-site Estimate Date will be set by our office and confirmed via email within 1-2 business days of receiving your On-site Estimate Fee.

We will provide a 2-hour arrival window via phone or email 1-2 days prior to install. We are not able to adjust this time window. It is your responsibility to confirm this appointment and ensure we have the correct contact information for you. 

Installations

We have a cancellation policy in place to make sure appointments occur when planned. A credit card and agreement via email to our cancellation policy/terms and conditions are required when booking an installation. We will call you 1-2 business days prior to the scheduled install date to confirm and provide you with a two-hour window of arrival. We also require no less than two (2) business days’ advance notice of cancellations or re-scheduling. In order for you to remain on the schedule and avoid a cancellation fee, we will need to receive your confirmation of the arrival window before the close of business on that day. Cancellation fees are based on the projected cost of your installation.

Cancellation Fees
  • For all jobs valued at $500 or less, the Cancellation Fee is $225. 
  • For all jobs valued at $501 to $800, the Cancellation Fee is $350.
  • For all jobs valued at $801 to $1,200, the Cancellation Fee is $550. 
  • For all jobs valued at $1,201 to $1600, the Cancellation Fee is $800.
  • For all jobs valued at $1,601 or more, a 50% deposit is required. This deposit is non-refundable if proper notice of cancellation is not provided.

Installation Pricing and Payments
  • Payment for your installation is due upon completion. Payment can be made by credit card, check or cash. 
  • Pricing is based on Standard Installation
    • Standard Installation - All existing plumbing, gas lines, electrical, venting, cabinetry, etc. are set per manufacturer’s specifications (please refer to your product installation guide). 
    • Alterations - any alterations to plumbing, electrical, cabinetry, etc. are at an additional cost. 
  • Pricing includes:
    • Customary parts, such as water supply lines for a dishwasher, etc.
    • Un-installation and hauling of like-in-kind appliances when done at the time of installation.  
  • Any requests for alterations or additional work after you sign your approval on the acceptance and completion of the work will be at an additional cost.
  • If you confirm your installation but are not Present on your Installation Date, a Cancellation Fee will be applied.

Installation Date
  • Any dates provided by our office and confirmed via scheduling@djinstallations.com, are only guaranteed when we receive your confirmation to act as your signature that you have read and agree to our Terms & Conditions/Cancellation Policy within 24 hours of that email.
  • If your confirmation is not received within 24 hours, we will get you scheduled for our next available date that also works with your schedule.
A Cancellation Fee is applied if:
  •  You're not Prepared and Present for your installation 
  • Do not provide at least 2 business days’ notice to Cancel Your Installation or get a Rescheduled Installation Date
Cancellations are required to be submitted according to the following timeline in order to avoid a cancellation fee:
• Monday – by 5pm Wednesday
• Tuesday – by 5pm Thursday
• Wednesday – by 5 pm Friday
• Thursday – by 5 pm Monday
• Friday – by 5 pm Tuesday
• Saturday – by 5 pm Wednesday


Prepared 
  • You are Prepared for your installation when you have taken the action set forth below and you confirm the installation.
    • We will provide a 2-hour arrival window via phone or email 1-2 days prior to install. 
      • We are not able to adjust this time window. 
    • It is your responsibility to confirm this appointment and ensure we have the correct contact information for you. 
    • If you confirm your installation but are not Present on your installation date, a Cancellation Fee will be applied.
  • Before confirming your appointment you should:
    • Make sure your appliance is available.
    • Make sure you or your designated agent will be present.
    • Make sure your power, water and gas will be fully functional.
    • Make sure your installation location is set per manufacturer’s recommendations.
      • We will do our best to review job details and review potential modifications, over the phone.
Present
  • You are Present when you or your designated agent are onsite for the entirety of the installation.
    • You or your designated agent need to be available the entire Installation Date (8am-6pm).
    • We will do our best to arrive within our 2-hour window, but this arrival window is subject to change at any time.
    • We will do our best to call you 15 minutes prior to arrival, and to notify you if there are any changes to our arrival time.
  • You are NOT Present when you or your designated agent are not available when our installers arrive and/or cannot remain onsite. If you are NOT Present you will be charged a cancellation fee and will be responsible for any estimated travel fees e.g. ferry or out-of-area fees. These fees must be paid on your Installation Date.
